Janathon ’20 day 24: excuses, mainly

Mrs H had a pretty full-on day yesterday, starting very early and requiring some careful planning. So circuits was out of the question, realistically. Then, after the day was over, I couldn’t really avoid my full Uber-Dad duties, ferrying children to/from Guides, jobs etc. Then I got sucked into helping my 16yo set up a revision timetable – where I found Get Revising, which seemed to do the trick pretty well, I may say, in case you need such things!

Anyway, then it was already past my bedtime. So in fact all I really managed with any Janathon relevance was a couple of sets of 20 sit-ups. I’m trying to build the habit of doing these every day, having realised that perhaps my struggle with them isn’t just due to mechanics. Today this habit paid off!

  1. Nice work! Can be a struggle to find time for Janathon if you are a family guy. Good that sit up practice is paying off.

    1. Thanks, I’m just hoping that one day I’ll be able to do them without needing a counter-weight on my legs! :-/
